Jay Myers: Founder/CEO
Jay B. Myers is the Founder/CEO of Interactive Solutions, Inc. (ISI), a Memphis based firm that specializes in video conferencing, distance learning, telemedicine and audio-visual sales and support. Myers started ISI in 1996 and in the past 18 years has built it into a $20 million company with 50 employees and offices in Memphis, Nashville, TN. and Chicago, IL
ISI was named to INC. magazine’s list of the fastest growing private companies in the United States 7 times in the past 11 years. In 2007, Myers published his first book” Keep Swinging” An Entrepreneurs Story of Overcoming Adversity and Achieving Small Business Success and was awarded the 2010 Ethan Award for success as an entrepreneurial author.
His second book “Hitting the Curveballs” How Crisis can Strengthen and Grow Your Business was released in January 2014.Myers lives in Collierville, Tenn. and Holmes Beach, Fla. with his wife Maureen and black lab Casey and has 2 children.
Jeremy Johnson: VP of Sales
Jeremy started with ISI in 2005 as an Account Manager and was promoted to Vice President of Sales in 2010. Jeremy Leads a sales organization with a national footprint focusing in Telemedicine, Distance Learning and corporate conferencing and audio visual technologies.
Upon graduating from the University of Memphis with a degree in Public Relations, Jeremy went to work for Worldwide Express, DHL’s ,largest partner in North America as an Account Executive.In his free time away from the office, Jeremy spends his time with his wife and 2 sons. He is also an avid runner and loves playing basketball and keeping up with University of Memphis athletics.
Derek Plummer: Collaboration Engineer
Since graduating college, Derek Plummer has served ISI and the technology industry for almost two decades. Derek has played a key role in helping to grow ISI to becoming one of the premier integrators in the Southeast and in gaining national recognition from both magazines such as INC as well as vendors such as Cisco Systems. Derek is a dedicated professional who enjoys a challenge and who takes ownership of the work he is presented with to ensure the success of all involved. He currently leads our newest collaboration efforts as ISI explores the latest in cloud-based technologies to offer to our customers.
Derek's diversification within the technology industry encompasses projects both big and small, with projects for Fortune 100 companies to startups, in industries such as federal government, to corporate, to healthcare, and education. In Derek’s own words though, “the projects that have been the most meaningful have been the ones that have involved children.” This includes the work he has been involved with for entities such as LeBonheur Children’s Hospital, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Ronald McDonald House, and the Target House. Derek currently holds an InfoComm CTS-I certification and has achieved many other industry certifications over the years.Derek is a devoted husband and father of two children. He enjoys working around the house, soccer, MMA, international travel, and app development.
Brad Kirby: VP of Operations
Brad Kirby, Vice President of Operations, started his career with ISI in 2005 as an installer in the operations department. In 2009, he moved to a position in the Design and Engineering department as a Designer and Network Infrastructure Engineer. From there Brad transitioned to a Project Manager role in 2010 to help manage the largest job ISI has been awarded.
Brad has maintained responsibility for overseeing the infrastructure installs since advancing to his current position 3 years ago. Currently, Brad is responsible for overseeing the team that handles procurement, logistics and all customer installations across the United States. While not at work Brad loves to golf, boating at the lake, watching college football and spending time with his wife and daughter.
Pooven Naidoo: VP of Design & Engineering
Pooven joined the ISI team in 2004 following graduation with a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering Technology from the University of Memphis. Pooven started at ISI in an entry level position, has led the Software Development team and now is in charge of our Design & Engineering. In this role, Pooven leads a team that translates the vision and business needs of all of the ISI clients into actionable designs. Pooven has worked on projects of various complexity and he always gives each project his full attention.
Pooven has more than 10 years of experience in the audio visual industry and currently holds a number of certification including CTS and AMX Control Expert. These skills allow him to provide expert advice and services to ISI's customer base. When not working, Pooven enjoys spending time and travelling with his family, and watching sports.
Joseph Timmerman: Programming Manager
Joseph Timmerman joined the ISI team in 2010 after graduating from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering Technology. Joseph leads a team providing custom audio visual programming with an emphasis in ensuring a simplified user interface and customer satisfaction. Joseph is in charge of custom programming, programming patches and upgrades, and reviewing new software technologies that are beneficial to our customers.
When not working Joseph enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, enjoying the outdoors and programming Python, Crestron, AMX and Java.
